Welcome to Grace!

Hello!
I am so glad to be able to welcome you on behalf of all the people of Grace United Methodist Church, the place we usually just call “Grace.” For many of us, Grace has been home for a very long time and for many others—including myself and my family—Grace is still new and fresh. But for all of us, Grace is an exciting place to be following Jesus Christ.
You have found a church that is extremely active in ministry. It seems there is always something going on here, whether it is a youth or children’s event, a community ministry, or a group of our folks gearing up to go out into the world and share the good news that Jesus is alive and there is hope for all people.
Isn’t that what we all want—hope? We live in difficult times and it seems as if so much of what we have been able to trust has changed or completely disappeared. That is why belonging to a community is as important as it has ever been. And we would love to welcome you personally to this fantastic, loving community, one founded on the rock of faith.
Please stay for awhile and visit the various pages we’ve built to tell you about Grace. We would love for you to be our guest soon, but in the meantime, you can learn about us—our values, beliefs, ministries and activities—or even listen to a sermon or two. You can contact us through this web site or find our phone number or address if you’re looking for something more personal.
As the new pastor of Grace, having arrived at the beginning of July, I can tell you that this is a church on the move. There is a sense of excitement and hope for the future that you can feel when we gather for worship. I hope you’ll give us the chance to share those gifts with you.
Grace and peace,
Pastor John Fleming
