MINISTRY GROUPS at Grace

Children, Youth & Families

At Grace, we know children are the future of the Church.  We provide care for infants and toddlers and classes for all children and youth on Sunday morning 9:30 – 10:30am.   Wednesday evening enrichment activities for all school age children and youth are held at 7p.m.

We also welcome all family members, regardless of age, into worship services.  A family area where children can play and parents can participate in worship is a part of our Celebration Center.

GUMC Youth (GUMY) participate in summer mission activities, both nearby and beyond that help them to mature in discipleship.

Please check the calendar for children’s events, activities and outreach opportunities.

Women of Grace

Women at GUMC are affiliated with United Women in Faith. Our chapter is led by Vicki Busby, who plans meetings and events throughout the year.  Contact her at [email protected] for meeting information.

STEPHEN MINISTRY

Bear one another’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ (Galatians 6:2, NRSV).

Stephen Ministry offers a proven and effective way to organize, equip, and supervise a team of congregation members—called Stephen Ministers—to provide high-quality, one-to-one, Christ-centered care to people in the congregation and the community experiencing life difficulties.

If you want someone to provide confidential, prayerful, compassionate support through a difficult situation, contact Stephen Leader Jack Portman.

MUSIC

Our worship music is coordinated by Dr. Daniel Dominick and Laura Dominick, who provide a broad variety of vocal, choral, and instrumental music to enhance our worship services.
